Samantha Ann McLain, age 56, passed away on December 17, 2023 at home. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 6, 1967. Sam was a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. She was a lover of animals, especially cats and all wildlife. Sam enjoyed riding her motorcycle when her health allowed. She was a very kind person with a big heart and smile with an endless love for her family and friends. She was not afraid of anything and would help those that suffered to make their lives better. She had the determination to learn to play the guitar and loved listening to all kinds of music on the radio. Sam was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth McLain; brother, Donald McLain; grandmother, Anna Spidel and aunt, Clara Spidel. Left to cherish her memory are her loving mother, Annette McLain; uncle, James Spidel; nephews, Lucas McLain and Nicholas (Angela) McLain; cousins, Scott (Brooke) Spidel and Greg Spidel; special friend, Aaron Callahan and many other dear friends. Private family services will be observed.
