Following a quick reunion with his Mom and Dad, Sam and Rose Carine; and two sisters, we believe the first person he sought out in heaven was the legendary big band leader, Stan Kenton. A life-long music lover, Dad loved dancing and could often be found at the 94th Aero Squadron. Also an avid fisherman and golfer, he has undoubtedly already scouted the best fishing hole and booked a tee time on heaven’s finest golf course. We’re happy he now has the best view on Ohio State game day.
A Korean War veteran, his love of people led him to a career in medicine for over 30 years. A family practitioner who specialized in sports medicine, he was honored to be Groveport High School’s team physician for most of his career. On staff at area hospitals, he touched so many lives with his healing hands and loving heart.
Entrusted to carry on his legacy are his wife, Lois, and three children, Jeff Carine, Eric Carine, and Krista Wood and their families. He taught us to be kind, to believe in ourselves, and to always be there for others. We love and miss you already, Dad.
