Samuel Clark

Samuel Clark, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. He was born June 14, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Odel and Henrietta (Moss) Clark. He was a graduate of North High School and a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. Sam retired as a supervisor for the United States Postal Service after 32 years. He was an active member of Living Water Ministries and enjoyed bowling and spending time with family. He was a true handyman and could fix anything. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father who raised him, Ernest Hunt; and sisters, Ruth Clark and Beatrice Piper. Sam is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lula (Brooks) Clark; children, Duane (Charlotte) Clark, Cynthia "Cindy" Clark, Cheryl "Sherry" (Mark) Schriml, Linda (Ron) Cook, Roseanne Thomas, and Brian (Felice) Thomas; brother, James "Jimmy" Clark and Eddie (Wanda) Clark; sister, Norma Jean "Wimpy" (Richard) Tarrant; and many other relatives and dear friends. Family will receive friends 12p-1pm Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
