Samuel Alexander Hazemey

Samuel Alexander Hazemey, loving father and papi, 76, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 8th, 2011. He was a vivacious person whose love for life and family was felt by all who knew him. He was born February 27th, 1934 in Welch, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mohamed Hazemey and Kadiji Smiley Saleh; and his sister, Selma Hazemey. He will be missed by his four children; Ramsey Hazemey, Victoria (Chris) Giller, and Janine Hazemey, of Columbus, and Robert Hazemey of Arlington, VA.; three grandchildren, Maxine, Mitchell, and Walter Giller; sisters Lillie Dandy and Mona Saleh; brother Kemal Hazemey; the mother of his four children Lila Smiley; and his many beloved nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Sunday February 13, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E Johnstown Rd. The family will greet friends following the service.
