Sandra E. Polster

Sandra E. Polster, age 75, of Blacklick, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital with her family by her side. Sandy was born November 1, 1948 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Pauline (Stevenson) Wolfe. She was the owner/operator of Sinbad’s for 20 years and loved her Sinbad's family and customers. A devoted, wife, mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her husband of 55 years, L. Ronald Polster; son, Asher (Jenny) Polster; daughter, Mitzi (Brian) Denser; grandchildren, Ayden (Lilia) Polster, Bella Polster and Nicholas Denser; great grandchild, Matteo Polster; other relatives; many friends and two dogs, Jake and Oreo. Sandy lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed fishing, shopping and most of all spending time with her grandchildren who she adored. She enjoyed many vacations in her favorite place, Key West, where you could find her shopping on Duval Street or out on their boat "Fish Tales" catching some sun. She and Ron shared these trips with so many of their friends and family that there will be lots of wonderful memories for years to be shared. She helped all those who asked of her and was generous to the end. She was a provider, a counselor and a fighter. She did things her way and was the "boss" until the end. She left this world on her own terms. She was the "rock" of the family whose rhinestone shoes can never be filled but we will do our very best to continue to make her proud each day. The family asks that you remember her by continuing to tell her stories. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, April 8, 2024 at SCHOEDINGER EAST, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232, where family and friends may call 10:00-11:00 am Monday, April 8. Interment to follow Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Temple Israel section.
