Sandy Bilbrey

Sandra “Sandy” Kay Bilbrey, age 57, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012. She was a graduate of Brookhaven High School, where she played the clarinet in the band. Sandy was a spunky lady who will be remembered for her witty jokes. She was a Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeye fan and enjoyed crocheting. Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Gene Elam; sister, Kathy Elam and grandparents, Elzy and Sarah Schirtzinger and Bill and Lona Elam. Surviving are her daughter, Brandi Bilbrey; mother, Violet (Schirtzinger) Elam; siblings, Vickie Cornell, Daniel Elam, Peggy (Gary) Shotts and Penny (Steve) McClary; 12 nieces and nephews; 4 great nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles and friends. Family will receive friends 2-5pm Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229 and Monday from 3-4pm with funeral services beginning at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Central Ohio Chapter, 3740 Ridge Mill Dr., Hilliard, OH 43026.
