Sara Jane Cain

Sara Jane (Harden) Cain left this life after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma on July 25, 2015. She was born November 16, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN, was a graduate of Colerain High School in Cincinnati, OH and attended Miami University. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mary Harden and brother, Steve Harden (Linda). Sara is survived by her husband of 51 years, Edward, whom she married on August 3, 1963; daughters Michele (Andy) Corbin, Kristen Cain and Melanie (Steve) Hewitt. Grandchildren Amanda Corbin (23), Kyle Corbin (18), Rachel Watters (14), Sarah Watters (12), Jack Hewitt (14) and Ryan Hewitt (13). She enjoyed cruising, visiting Venice and was especially fond of the Halekalani Hotel in Honolulu. Elephants held a special place in her heart and she was a loyal contributor to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Sara was a gifted designer of teddy bears and snowmen that sold nationwide.
