Sara W Hill

Sara W. "Sally" Hill, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the age of 97. Sara was born April 1, 1917 in Rockwood, Pennsylvania and attended Thompson Business College in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She worked as a secretary for Brandywine High School for many years. Sara was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Wilmington, Delaware and after moving to Columbus, Ohio, a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Dublin. Sara had currently been residing at Dublin Retirement Village. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, George W. Hill, Jr., daughter, Martha Brewer, and 2 brothers. She is survived by her son, George W. (Lynne) Hill, III of Powell, OH; son-in-law, Douglas Brewer of Jackson, MI; grandson, Charles (Stacey) Verhoeven of Salida, CO; granddaughters, Kristin (Shawn) Golden of Dublin, OH, Bethany (Eric) Kelm of Powell, OH and Lindsay (Jason) Clark of Upper Arlington, OH; great-grandchildren Jori and Liam Clark, Deklan Kelm, and Krislyn Golden; brother, Penrose (Sally Ann) Wolf of Perry, GA; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2014 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 5475 Brand Rd., Dublin, where family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until time of service Monday.
