Scott Melick, 46, of Columbus, died Thursday, April 21, 2011. He was born March 9, 1965 in Columbus. Scott worked in construction most of his life. He loved to work on cars and always took care of his family’s vehicles. Scott will be remembered for his great sense of humor, honesty, gentleness, and the way he cared for others. Scott will be missed by his loving parents Linda McFarland and Walter Melick; finacee, Bonnie Garner; brothers, Tod (Johanna) Melick and Eric (Stacey) Melick; nephew, Tony; nieces, Heather, Taylor, Sara, and Jenna; aunts, Barbara Hayhurst, Delores Stewart and Lois Walke; and many cousins. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (Just South of I-270), where the funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Union Cemetery.
