Scott Alan Stevens, age 69, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully at home with family on July 25, 2026. He was born on April 30, 1957 in Fulton, New York to the late William L. and Lina (Lathrop) Stevens. Scott joins his wife, Barb Stevens in death and leaves behind his sons Joel (Tammy) Stevens and Joshua (Lindsey) Stevens; grandchildren Claire, Leona and Zoe; brothers Mark Stevens and Wesley Stevens. He also will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Scott was an ordained minister who served with the United Methodist Church as well as the American Baptist Church, where he co-pastored with his wife, Barb. He loved to tinker and fix items and was interested in cars, planes, music, and reading. He was proud of his faith and passionate about serving. Scott donated blood to the American Red Cross every chance he could and through that service helped to save lives. He was also proud of his service in helping others through his 15+ years of work with Goodwill Industries. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 29, 2026 from 4PM to 7PM and on Thursday July 30, 2026 from 10AM to 11AM at Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204 where the funeral service will begin on Thursday July 30, 2026 at 11AM. Pastor Willie Pinkins will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Scott’s name to the American Red Cross – Blood Donation Center – 4327 Equity Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43228.
