

Shin Iisaka, age 47, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020. He was born on July 26, 1972 in Tokyo, Japan. Shin grew up in Ottawa and graduated from Colonel By High School. He attended Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. Shin loved performing music, road and mountain biking, and his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Bree; son, Kai; daughter, Ayla; dog, Hershey; parents, Joji and Michiko; and siblings, Ken and Maki. Memorial contributions may be made to Pelotonia.
Memorial Service details:
When: Friday June 12th
Time: 5-6pm
Where: Wyandotte Rd between 3rd and W 5th Avenues (outside)
Rain or Shine
No alcohol, no port-a-potties
A gathering at a local bar will be announced at the Service.
Dress: Be weather appropriate and do what feels right for you (shorts and T-shirts won’t insult us)
Transportation details: Local Grandview residents please try to walk or ride your bike.

There will be volunteers helping to direct you to the location of the outdoor service.
We ask that you honor Shin’s memory by wearing a mask during the proceedings and stay 6 feet away from people you don’t live with or interact with on a daily basis. If possible, bring your own chair.
Live feed is available for all out of town family and friends, and those who can’t attend in person.
