

Shirle Mae Husted (nee Wilson), 84, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2012. Born and raised in Chicago, Shirle lived in a number of places including: Arlington Heights, Illinois; Chappaqua, New York; and Columbus, where she resided for over 40 years. She was an editor, writer, and journalist, as well having held a number of positions of capacity in her over 20 year career at Ohio State University. Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and dear friend -- she will be greatly missed and always remembered. Survived by sons, Robert (Nancy) of Worthington and John (Marty) of Columbus; and daughter Deborah (Tim) Koshinsky of Chandler, Arizona; four grandchildren, Angela, Emily, Forrest, and Hilary; and two great grandchildren, Madelyn Grace and Ava Patricia. Friends may call Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 9:30 AM, immediately followed by internment at Union Cemetery.
