She was proceeded in death by her parents, Clarence and Esther Carrel, and brother, Clarence Carrel Jr. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Shultz; daughters Kimberly (Ken) Dickinson, Kristina Phillips, and Karen (Tom) Benham; grandchildren Jessica, Christopher, Sean, Elizabeth, Thomas, and Andrew; four great grandchildren, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t have done for her family. She took pride in making holidays magical and putting smiles on her family’s faces. She was the kindest, most patient person. She enjoyed living in Tennessee for almost 30 years, where she watched her favorite birds, spotted black bears, and got to partake in the many adventures Tennessee has to offer. She enjoyed peaceful coloring sessions, baking Christmas cookies and chocolate cake, and passing on traditions to her daughters and grandchildren.
The family would like to thank everyone for coming to celebrate her life. She was loved dearly by everyone she met and will be greatly missed.
