Stanley Paul Chaney

Stanley Paul "Stan" Chaney, age 60, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 17, 2016. He was born in Columbus on May 1, 1955 to Paul Morrow "Sonne" and Beverly (Foster) Chaney. He graduated from Northland High School and attended The Ohio State University where he played football under Coach Woody Hayes. Stan worked as a mechanic for many years. He had a passion for cars, NASCAR, Columbus Blue Jackets, working with his hands and recently woodworking. Preceded in death by his father, Sonne Chaney; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Virgil and Larie Lovejoy; brother-in-law, Stephen Lovejoy and sister-in-law, Laura Lovejoy. Survived by his dedicated and loving wife, Betty; mother, Beverly Chaney; children, Toia Nicole (Richard) Dunn, and Kurtis (Nichole) Chaney, Justin (Rebecca) Lovejoy and Stephanie Chaney; grandchildren, Katelyn, Alexis, William, Zoey, Madalyn, Kylie and David; siblings, Judy and Jerry Chaney; longtime friends, Jimmy (Joanne) Smith; beloved partner in crime, Gunner; sisters-in-law, Vicki (Leonard) Crooks and Mary Lovejoy; brother-in-law, Michael (Angela) Lovejoy; other relatives and friends.
