

Stanley K. Stewart, age 80 of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Stanley was born in Huntington, West Virginia the son of the late Robert and Ruth (Hutchinson) Stewart. He grew up in Salt Rock, West Virginia, where he and his 5 brothers were raised by Robert and Lorene (stepmother) Stewart. Also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carla Castle-Stewart, and brothers, Danie and Butch Stewart. Stanley graduated from Barboursville High School and then attended Marshall University. He later went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. When he returned, Stanley went to work alongside of his father at his plumbing business. It was there that Stanley was taught a strong work ethic and the integrity which attributed to him becoming a successful businessman. Stanley later moved to Ohio with his wife Jane and started a family of three children. He went to work for Integrity Supply for 20 years before starting his own business CPI Marketing with his then wife Carla in 1987. Stanley was a hardworking, giving, and caring man. He was passionate about wildlife and animals and would give anything "stray" a home or nurse it back to health. Most of all, Stanley was a hardworking man and dedicated a lot of time to building his business but embraced time he was able to spend with his family. He will be greatly missed by his loving children, Venus Stewart, Nickie (Julie Sutera) Stewart and Stan (Karen) Stewart, Jr.; grandchildren, Marty Boden, Grant Gampfer, Levi Sutera, and Lucian, Chloe, and Stormy Stewart; great grandchildren, Charlotte, Martin and Benjamin Boden; brothers, Larry, Marvin (Debbie) and Harold (Mary Beth) Stewart; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, very dear friend Chris Martin. Because of Stanley's love and passion for animals, his family suggests donations be made to any animal rescue charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
A brief Memorial will be held at John E. Morrison Cemetery in Cabell County, WV on July 17th at 11 a.m. The service will be followed by a Celebration of Life from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Barboursville Park, Co Rd 3 1/6, Barboursville, WV 25504.
