Steven D. Elliott

Steven D. Elliott, age 59, of Columbus, OH passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 7, 2013. He was born to the late Homer and Gwen Elliott in Marion, OH on June 12, 1954. Steven graduated from Marion Harding High School, class of 1972. He received his Bachelor of Science in Police Administration and Fire and Safety Engineering from Eastern Kentucky University in 1980. Steven held position as Chairperson of Information Management Committee for Chemical Emergency Preparedness Advisory Council. He recently retired as Associate Director of Environmental Health and Safety at The Ohio State University. Steven enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling to Lake Erie. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Elliott; sons, Kenrick Elliott and Chris (Jennifer) Elliott; grandson, Jacob; sister, Lori (John) Gosnell; nephew, Shane Gosnell; great-aunt, Geri Joseph; extended family and friends. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 4pm-7pm at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL 1740 Zollinger RD.
