

Steven Phillip Evans, 39, of Circleville, formerly of Lancaster, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 in Circleville. He was born April 4, 1971 in Lancaster to Thomas E. Evans and Stella A. (Thomas) Evans. He was preceded in death by brother, Tommy Evans; and step-mother, Betty Evans. He served in the U.S. Marines and was employed by Forward Air. He enjoyed motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons; camping, participating in dart tournaments and going to Myrtle Beach. Steve was caring and devoted to his family and friends. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Michele (Thomas) Evans of Circleville; his parents Tom and Stella of Lancaster; daughters, Ciarra, Madeline, Kassidi; step-daughter, Mystry Buskirk; brothers and sisters, Arthur “Porky” (finance’ Diane) Sisco, Joe Sisco, Rose Mary Sisco (Gene) Charles, Jody Sisco (Todd Wildermuth) Sisco, Jimmy (Jennifer) Sisco, Barby (Clyde Joy) Ray, Cheryl (Ed) Hiles, and Joey Evans, all of Lancaster, Nida (Mike) Berry of Grand Rapids, Ohio, Tony (Leslie) Evans of Powell, and Alan Sisco of Titusville, Florida; father- and mother-in-law, Dave and Connie Thomas; brother-in-law, Chris Thomas and his son, Bradley; and canine companions, Mocha and Teddy.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville, with Pastor Greg Gardner officiating.
