

Steven Randall Friley, age 54, of Amanda, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on April 26, 1960 to the late Glen and Edna Friley. Steven worked as an iron worker and later as a truck driver. He was very talented at many things and proud of his accomplishments. He enjoyed arts and crafts and was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Patricia Diedrich, Charlotte Babcock, Larry Hammond, and an infant brother; and nephew, Mike Diedrich. He is survived by his daughters, Genita Friley, Misti (Rob) Holland, and Jessica Friley; son in-law, Shawn Rauck; grandchildren, Erika Rauck, Bekka Rauck, Brysen Six, Caedyn Six, Genica Holland, Kaleb Rauck, and Jaycee Holland; sister, Joyce Bowling; former spouse of 33 years, Tina; best friend, Bill Burchett; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday, December 8, 2014 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 10:00AM. Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating. A graveside will follow at 1:00PM at Ormes Cemetery, Normandy Road, Portsmouth, Ohio.
