Steven James Lindsey

Steven James "Steve" Lindsey, age 62, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 30, 1950. Steve was a member of Troop #76 where he was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout and was ranked as an Eagle Scout. He attended Linden McKinley High School and graduated from OSU Barber School. Steve owned The Village Barber Shop in Eustis, Florida for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Eustis as well. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Lindsey. Steve is survived by his son, Steve S. (Maria Pingue) Lindsey; mother, Patricia Lindsey; sisters, Marilyn (Rick) Higginbotham and Carolyn (Bill) Cook; companion of many years, Tracy Mobley; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER LINDEN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio where funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 10:00am.
