My deepest sympathy and regards for all of the Rose family. Just found out today of Steve's passing. I am flooded with memories of all the fun we had playing football, camping, and just generally being boys. Steve and his family always treated me well,  and I have nothing but the fondest thoughts for you all. Steve was a great guy!!

To the Rose Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathy on Steve's passing.  I remember when we were both small your mother would send him across the road with two sacks of candy, one for him and one for me.  He would stay and play all day and at the end of the day my mother would help him back across the busy road.  After we moved away in 1963, Steve and his father came to visit one day and Steve had a puppy with him, a Chihuahua/Terrier mix, that he wanted me to have.  Tippy was part of our family for 17 years or so.  We loved him very much and when I think of Tippy it always reminded me of Steve, too.

May the Lord comfort you all at this difficult time and in the days to come.
