Sue Woods Calvin, age 75, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 17, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She fought the good fight for several years, defying every prognosis with remarkable strength and determination.
Sue will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, sharp sense of humor, and witty nature. She faced life with grace and grit and was deeply devoted to her family, who brought her immense joy.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Calvin; her grandchildren, Owen, Ady, Elly, Aidan, and Emy; her sisters, Carolyn Strancke (Charlie) and Kathy Woods-Pobjoy (Andy); her brother, Chip Woods (Judy); and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Gloria Woods; her husband, Chris Calvin; and her son, Bradley Calvin.
Due to the weather, the Celebration of Life for Sue that was scheduled for Sunday, January 25, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at Schoedinger Northwest has been canceled.
