Sue Ann Marsh

A proud graduate of North High School’s Class of 1955, Sue Ann was a member of the 1955 Girls Basketball State Championship Team. She later worked at the Park of Roses, where her love for nature flourished. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 1959 and later returned to complete her Master’s in 1979. With a deep passion for helping others, she dedicated her career to supporting women and families, leaving a lasting impact on her community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn Lillian Stephenson and Harold “Steve” Stephenson, as well as her brother, Don Stephenson. She is survived by her brother, Jon Stephenson (Mary Caress) of Ft. Pierce, FL; her sons, Steve Marsh (Jen Marsh) of Dallas, TX, and Brian Marsh (Bridget Marsh) of Bexley, OH; her daughter, Sharon Marsh Flynn (Patrick Flynn) of Mason, OH; and her cherished nieces, Mistie Berschet (Doug Berschet) and Dawn Florence (Scott Florence). She was a beloved grandmother to Alex (Katie), Katie (Danny Mayper), Maddie, and Andrew Marsh, Kate and Claire Askew, and Kayleigh, Kara, Peyton, and Tierney Flynn, as well as a proud great-grandmother to Harper and Henry Marsh.

Sue Ann will be remembered for her empathy, unwavering strength, and sense of direction. She was an avid bridge player, an enthusiastic supporter of her family’s activities, and a devoted fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. She had many hobbies including reading, crocheting, puzzles, and baking for her loved ones. She cherished every minute with her family, especially the annual Christmas cookie baking day with her grandchildren.
