I worked with Sue at OSUMC for a number of years and she was the most delightful person I ever met. She was the quintessential Manager at OSUMC, she always met you with a smile and projected the "old school" style of "walking the talk". She really cared about her co-workers, her staff and she had an incredible work ethic. OSUMC lost one of the BEST. She will never be able to be replaced. I am sure she is smiling down on all of us now.  I am saddened that her family has lost a shinning spirit and I think of you all as  we remember her smiling face and enthusiastic personality.

Sue was such an amazing person. A year ago when i decided to leave MIM, i knew there was one person i would have a hard time telling- i came to her office and i cried and she laughed :)- one of my fav memories with her.

Sue and I used to work next cubicle to each other.  Had shared many memories about our working relationships.  Sue was a wonderful person to work with and she will be dearly missed. To Sue's family:  My name is Nina Upperman.  I worked with Sue for many years in Medical Records at the hospital. I was in the Cancer Registry and we had many good times.  I am so sorry for your loss.  I wish I could be there with you tonight but other commitments will not allow me to be.  You had a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  Lots of love.

Susan, was my oldest sister and someone who at times was a guide in the journey of my life.  I remember one time when I was very upset about something in middle school. Susan was twelve years older than me and at that particular time, she was married and pregnant with a cast on her leg from an injury. Imagine a pregnant woman with a cast and using crutches. She drove all the way from Worthington to our family home in Gahanna and hobbled into my bedroom. She sat on my bed and gave me a hug and talked to me to comfort me and make me feel okay. 

Susan was also there to help me after each of my children was born. This was back in the day when health insurance was only allowing woman 24 hours in the hospital after delivery. She just came over and pitched in to help my husband and myself. 

Things have not been okay these past few weeks. I sit here with tears rolling down my face and seeing her face on this tribute wall, it is all so very hard to believe. 

In recent years, as our Dad has needed more of our assistance, he has often called us three sisters, Susan, Kathy, and I, his three angels. Now, one of us, is in heaven as a True Angel. 

I will miss my sister so much!!

Along with others here, I too worked with Sue for several years in Medical Records. She was so kind and helpful to everyone, always smiling and sweet, a true pleasure to work with. She will be greatly missed. My condolences to her family.

Sue was one of my favorite people here at OSU. She always helped me with whatever I needed(even things my manager should have helped me with). I will miss Sue and her warm happy smile and her twinkling eyes. She was one of the few people whose whole face lit up when she saw me. I appreciated Sue's friendship.

I work at OSU East in MIM Department and I worked with Sue for 13 years. Sue had a great impact on my learning process. She always willing to help me anytime. Sue always ask me how I was doing. I worked in Medical Records for a few years and I got to know Sue pretty well. We hit it off right from the start. We made a connection on my interview. I think it was partyly due to our being close in age. She was a true professional. She really enjoyed her job and she loved doing it, and she did it very well. She was the best. I'll miss not seeing her when I go to Medical Records. I am very sorry for your loss. Her family meant a lot to her, she talked about her summer vacations with you guys in Outer Banks.

Sue was an amazing person. She always put others first and never had a bad word to say about anyone. I was lucky enough to be called her friend and I treasure our times together. The Outer Banks, the OSU Buckeyes, playing with the Grandkids, shopping with her daughter, reading a good book, movies with happy endings, Walt Disney World, these are a few of her favorite things. Sue was all about family and my heart goes out to all of them.
