

A loving wife, mother, and sister who cared deeply for her family, friends, and neighbors Susan truly was one of a kind. She always had a knack for helping others, be it from her time spent working at UC Davis Medical Center, Grizzell Middle School Nurses Aid, to volunteering at the Dublin Irish Festival, she always found a way to help those around her. No matter the problem, she was going to help you find a solution to it. Be it personal advice, articles or her infamous care packages, she was going to find a way to help.
Susan also had a sense of adventure that took her far beyond her home state of California. From Colorado where she met her husband, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, to the coconut crabs on Guam. She could always find beauty in her surroundings aiding her joy of art and interior design, which in true Barry fashion, she had tremendous talent for.
Susan was devout in her faith as a Seventh Day Adventist, but raised in the Baptist church she also enjoyed attending worship at the Dublin Baptist Church.
Susan is survived by her children Megan Armbruster and her husband Tyler, Michael Erickson Dennett and his wife Kathryn; her grandchildren Owen and Aubrey; sisters Deborah Barry, Barbara Barry, Sally Gilchrist; mother-in-law Marilyn Dennett and her children Tom and Carrie; and many cousins; nieces; and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Kenneth Dennett; her parents Jack and Gwendolyn Barry; and her in-laws Barbara Shaw and George Dennett.
Burial will be held in private on March 17th at Jerome cemetery. A memorial service is planned for April 16th. The family will notify loved ones once arrangements have been made. SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN has been entrusted to assist the family.
