Susan Lynn Picknell

Susan Lynn Picknell, 58, of Gahanna, passed away on November 22, 2015. She was born on March 18, 1957 in Toledo to John and Viola (Chorba) Elekonich. She is preceded in death by her father. Susan was an avid reader of mysteries and thrillers. Her love of mysteries even extended to television, as she was a faithful watcher of Scooby Doo. She loved to travel and work on her home, and was a member of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church. She was a kind and loving woman who will be greatly missed by her mother Viola Elekonich, her daughters Amy (Matthew Malone) Picknell and Jennifer (fiancé Steven Harper) Picknell, Brother Christopher Elekonich, Sister Nancy Campbell and her beloved shelties Baxter and Lexi. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 807 Havens Corner Road, at 12:30pm with Father Ryan Schmit officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10am to 12 noon Tuesday at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 East Johnstown Road.
