Thelma E. Allen, age 83, a longtime resident of North Columbus, died Monday, January 20, 2014 at Heartland Victorian Village. She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Allen, and sons, Richard, Charles, Curtis, and Kevin Artis. She is survived by her children, Jacqueline (Mark) Gordon, Bryant Artis, and Theodore Artis; grandchildren, Dustin, Aisha, Theo, Isiah, De’Airyon, and David; other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Schoedinger Linden Memorial Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, where memories of Thelma will be shared at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
