Thelma lived a long, happy life, which she dedicated to serving her family, her community, & her church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Frederick Cartmell, as well as an infant daughter; her parents, Robert and Mary Murnahan; her brothers, Carl and Robert Murnahan; and one sister, Rita Sesser.
She is survived by her sister, Nora Welch; her daughter, Robyn Cartmell; her granddaughters, Hannah McBride and Sandra Coates; grandson-in-law, Kyle Coates; six beloved great-grandchildren; a nephew, and a number of nieces.
A private, end-of-life service will be held for close family & friends on Friday, March 6th, 2026.
