Thelma Louise Cunningham

Thelma L. "Jonesy" Cunningham, 85 of Columbus, Ohio died Saturday March 13, 2021 at Darby Glenn Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born August 23, 1935 to the late Frederick and Della Cisco Lyday. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Cunningham, brothers, Dan and Gary Lyday, sister, Doris "Dodie" Carter, daughter, Lynn Maher and sons, Steve and John Cunningham. "Mammy" as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren was a fun-loving grandmother who would get a sparkle in her eyes whenever they were around. She had a special bond that was unbreakable with Colt and Jason. They will never be able to look at ice cream with sprinkles without thinking of Mammy. Besides her grandchildren and family Thelma enjoyed playing games, doing word searches, and loved playing bingo. She is survived by her son, Brian (Corin) Cunningham; sisters, Susie (Robert) Hendricks and Phyllis (Mitch) Noble; grandsons, Colt (Katie) Cunningham, Jason (Lindsey) Cunningham and Jarrod Cunningham; great grandsons, Lucas, Cass, Kaden and Nolan Cunningham. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON FUNERAL HOME 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of 270) where friends may visit from 12:00pm until time of service.
