Theresa I. Meehan

Theresa I. (Price) Meehan, 76 of Columbus, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 after a prolonged battle with progressive Alzheimer’s. She was born June 17, 1934 in Columbus and was a graduate of St. Mary of the Springs High School. Theresa was a hardworking single mother who raised 7 children and was a doting grandmother. She was a devoted Catholic who loved Christmas and her favorite holiday was St. Patrick’s Day. Theresa enjoyed playing bingo, 500 rummy, collected angels and Hummels, and was always teasing and playing jokes. Her loving and playful spirit will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Marguerite Price. Theresa will be dearly missed by her children, Todd (Donna) Meehan, Tonya Shaw, Timothy (Terri) Meehan, Terence (Jo) Meehan, Thomas Meehan, Tara Meehan, and Tracey (Jeff) Gerardo; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Donna) Price; and sister, Mary (Jerry) Wittenmeier, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial and interment were held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH. Local arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger North Chapel (614) 436-9220.
