Thomas J. Fox

Thomas J. Fox, age 84, of Gahanna passed away on Friday April 10, 2015. He was born in Columbus on December 28, 1930 to the late Helen (Downey) and George F. Fox. He graduated from St. Charles High School, joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served aboard the USS Hornet. Tom then earned his B.S.B.A. from The Ohio State University and his M.B.A. from Michigan State University. Tom was a long time church collection counter, St. Matthew School third grade buddy and faithful Mount Carmel East Hospital volunteer. He is preceded in death by his infant granddaughters, Angela and Ann Marie Igel; brother, George F. Fox, Jr.; sister, Sr. M. Francis Helene C.S.C. Tom is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bernie; children, Dolores (John) Igel, Dennis (Debra) Fox, and Eileen Quinn; grandchildren, Daniel (fiancé Angie), Brian, and Melanie Igel, Hannah and Bridget Fox, Amanda and Elizabeth Quinn; brother, Joseph and sister, Mary. Family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher Rd.) Gahanna. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, Aril 17, 2015 at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, 807 Havens Corners Rd., Gahanna. Celebrant Fr. James Ogurchock. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery.
