Thomas D. Mathews Jr., 61 of Columbus, Ohio passed away on November 20, 2017 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital after a short illness. Tom loved cars, traditional country music and animals. He played guitar, the banjo and was proud to be an American. He also worked in the automotive field. Thomas is survived by his mother, Mary E. Mathews; sister, Carol (Tom) Osborne; niece, Mandy Osborne; nephew, Mark Osborne and many other friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas D. Mathews Sr. Tom was devoted to his family and will be sadly missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
