Thomas V. McCloskey, age 81, of Columbus, passed away peacefully with his family at his side Tuesday, October 17, 2017. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph, and mother, Laura, and half-brothers, Frederick and Joseph Jr.. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Noreen McCloskey; his sisters, Tillie Daniels and Sharon Naturale; their four children Diane McCloskey (Mark) Rechner, Thomas Jr. (Lisa) McCloskey, Mark (Michele) McCloskey and Rick (Cindy) McCloskey. He celebrated the birth of 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, Joseph McCloskey, Kathleen (Jon) Cooper, Caroline McCloskey, Connor McCloskey, Michael McCloskey, Kyle McCloskey, Meghan McCloskey, Sean McCloskey, Colin McCloskey and great-grandson, Jack Cooper. Thomas McCloskey served in the United States Army and was stationed in Italy from 1953-1957. A private family ceremony will be held at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL.
