

Thomas R. Young, age 84 of Dublin, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Tom was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in both Grand Rapids and Battle Creek, Michigan, son of the late Thomas and Eleanor Young. He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and Western Michigan University where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. Tom's career was focused in the automotive manufacturing industry where he held multiple positions including vice president and plant manager. Tom was a long-time member of First Congregational Church, Battle Creek, Michigan, where he and his wife, Judy, married in 1958. He also sang in the church choir. He had also been a member of First Presbyterian Church in Kearney, Nebraska, where he served as an Elder, and Second Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, Illinois. He retired to Dublin, Ohio in 2008. Tom was a hardworking man who could fix just about anything put in front of him. He enjoyed reading and playing bridge, but above all, Tom was most passionate about his family and spending time together with them. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Judy Young; children, Robert Young of Wesley Chapel, Florida and Stephanie (Michael) Koscher of Bemus Point, New York; grandchildren, Ella and Jack Koscher; faithful companion, Cupcake; sister, Sue Nichols; nieces, Linda (Jim) Durling and Cathy (Dan) Hart; and other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 4-7 P.M. Thursday, October 28, 2021, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Graveside inurnment will be held at Battle Creek Memorial Park, 2435 W.
