Timothy Arthur Gilbert

Timothy Arthur Gilbert, 62, of Columbus Ohio passed away at his home on the night of Friday, November 26th 2021. Tim was born to Donnivan and Betty (May) Gilbert in Columbus Ohio on December 22, 1958.

He was a loving father, an innovative craftsman, thoughtful mechanic, and knowledgeable landscaper. He loved boating, camping, fishing, photography, swimming in the ocean, and his Ford Mustang. Tim retired from Star Leasing Company in 2018, and was proud of the work he did there for 21 years.

Tim is survived by his daughters Kelli Canady of Westerville OH and Julia Gilbert of Mansfield OH, five grandchildren, his brothers Lee Gilbert of Columbus OH and David Gilbert of South Salem OH, his sisters Linda Ayres of Columbus OH and Donna Viamontes of Columbus OH, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his sister Nancy Stiles and his parents.

He will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held on his birthday, December 22, from 4pm to 8pm at 8075 Rookery Way Westerville OH 43082. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTH.
