My thoughts and prayers are with the Monghan Family. I grew up with Tim from Elementary school to High school graduation and can always remember him wi a smile on his face. I remember that he was a Huge football fan. Altough I have not see him in years he has been on my mind from time to tome. RIP Tim. Yo are deeply missed.

From Mrs. Arnold's 3rd grade class at Devonshire, to Mr. Johnson's 9th period English class our senior year at Beechcroft, to the "Cabin Cruise" of 1985 at Dillon Lake, I have such fond memories of Tim.  He was always so much fun and so kind.  My prayers go out to the famiy.

I remember being a Freshman in wood shop one day and having a bit of a mouthy exchange with one of my classmates.  Desegregation was still pretty new and there was still some division between races.  I was a small guy back then and an easy target for someone wanting to have good odds in a fight.  As I was letting my mouth get me further into trouble and two or three of the other guy's friends started rallying around him I heard Tim, from behind me, saying something to the effect of, "go ahead and see what happens."  Tim was standing there holding a 2"x4" like a baseball bat ready to swing at anyone who touched me.  It was never more clear what the definition of a friend was.  When we meet again I will tell him.

At a time when mind is clearly not what it was, shit I can't remember my own phone number half the time these days. But I remember clear as day sitting at a Formica table in the Monaghan kitchen playing poker with Tim, Brian and George.  I remember Marge in the kitchen, the cold Formica, the cards sliding across the table. I remember home cooked meals.  I can smell the house and hear Black Sabbath from the basement.  Crazy.  My thoughts and prayers are with Ian, Crystal, Brian and George.  Much love and appreciation from an old friend from the shire.

A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Timmy and Crystle. What a joy it was to have them both in my life. Timmy recently gave me a Cleveland Browns pillow( we both were insane lovers of our browns). Timmy, everyday when I fold the blanket and lay it and the pillow you gave me across the couch it will be a constant reminder

Tim and I met each other in junior high but didn't really start hanging out until 9th grade, but soon became great friends. This is the time in your life where the people you meet can shape who you are going to become, and Tim was one of those people in my life. I could go as far as to say probably the most influential person in me becoming who I am outside of my family. I don't think I ever told him that. We grew apart a few years after high school, then I moved away but always had intentions to get in touch with him when I visited Columbus, thinking there would be plenty of time. His friendship and the many many great times we had when we were young will never be forgotten. I want to let all of Tim's family know that I am deeply saddened by his passing and hope this note will bring them some comfort.
