

Timothy David Simpson, age 65, of Columbus, died unexpectedly Monday, February 11, 2013 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. He had worked for United Dairy Farmers in North Columbus since May, 1990, managing the former location at the corner of Cleveland and Weber for 16 years. He was raised in what is now called Riverside, Ohio and was a graduate of Beavercreek High School and Miami University, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He was also an Eagle Scout. Tim loved life and lived it to its fullest. He was a lover of animals, especially dogs. Tim enjoyed thrifting, yard-saling, and antiquing, as well as singing, playing the piano, and swimming. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Marie Simpson. He is survived by daughters, Tricia (Dave) Reidenbach and Laurie (Josh) Clawson; grandchildren, Phoebe, Chloe, and Josh Clawson, and Sam and Ella Reidenbach; sister, Cyndi (Bob) Wagner; great friend and cousin, John Stephens; “extended family”, Darrell “Shorty” Green, Donny McLaughlin, Chuckie Trout, John Thompson, Nick Kupay, Ruthie Bliss, Charlene Powell, and Theresa “L.T.” Heard; many other relatives and friends. Friends will be received from 2-4:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER LINDEN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, where a celebration of his life and sharing of his stories will take place at 4:00 p.m. Monday; private inurnment at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
