Anthony (Tony) D. Siciliano, age 43, died on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at OSU’s Ross Heart Hospital after receiving his second double lung transplant. Tony was born with cystic fibrosis and received his first lung transplant in Alabama in 2000 after he graduated with his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and in the midst of attending the University of Toledo Law School. Tony grew up in Toledo, Ohio, and moved to Columbus, Ohio to work as an Ohio assistant attorney general, and most recently as the Chief Counsel for the Division of Financial Institutions at the Department of Commerce.
In 2010, Tony married the love of his life, Debi (Freye) Siciliano, at a castle in Scotland and they joyously welcomed their adored daughter Quin in 2011. Tony thought being a parent to Quin was the best part of life and they share the same silly sense of humor. He loved traveling and spent many happy times with his wife and friends on various adventures.
Tony is also survived by his mother and stepfather Linda (Domini) Webb and Luke Black, his father and stepmother Roy and Karlene Siciliano and his grandfather John Kranz, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins that Tony treasured in his life. He was preceded in death by his cousin Susan (Pawlecki) Jarrell and his stepfather Donald Webb, M.D. (Marci).
Tony was incredibly loved by and will be missed by many other friends and colleagues, especially for his wicked and wacky sense of humor. Tony was very active with Lifeline of Ohio and the family suggests that donations be made in his honor to Lifeline of Ohio, Attn: Contributions, 770 Kinnear Road, Suite 200, Columbus, OH 43212 or http://lifelineofohio.org/.
Family will receive friends from 1-4 pm, Sunday (February 21, 2016) and 12-1pm, Monday (February 22, 2016) at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085 where his Funeral Service will be held at 1pm, Monday, February 22, 2016.
