Tonya R. Coles

Tonya R. Coles, Esq, age 37, of Columbus, OH, went home to be with the Lord at Mt. Carmel West Hospital on July 23, 2013. Born on January 30, 1976 to Robert III and Pamela (Good) Coles in Columbus, OH. She graduated from West High School, Otterbein College, and Capital University Law School. She was an active member of the Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith. Tonya owned and operated the Law Office of Tonya R. Coles and was a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Columbus Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, American Bar Association, the John Mercer Langston Bar Association, and the Ohio Center for Law Related Education. Tonya also served on the board of the J. Ashburn, Jr. Youth Center. She leaves to cherish to her memory; her loving parents, father, Robert (Linda) Coles III; mother, Pamela Good Coles; sister, Tiffany Coles; brother, Robert (Mahogany) Coles IV; nephew, Levi Coles; niece, Megan Coles; nephew, Zachary Coles; uncles, Gerald (Juanita) Good, H. Brian (Donna) Good; aunts, Andrea (Harry) Kershaw, Charlotte (Douglas) Gailliard, Southfield, Michigan; Sylvia Good Brown, Darnell (Karl) Tidwell, Shelly (Martin) Smith, Ronda Good Lewis, Juliet Coles Rowland; Deborah Coles Stinson, Caroline “Buttons” (Arthur Clark) Coles Pate, Anaheim, California; and a host of cousins, relatives, friends, and church family. Funeral services 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, 1200 Brentnell Avenue, Columbus, OH 43219, where the family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the start of services.
