I have known Torrey all of his life because he is my cousin.  Torrey is the only cousin whose age I can remember because we are 10 years apart.  I was born in June and he came along 10 years later in July.  Torrey and I got into much trouble at church because we laughed at everything.  I remember a drunkard that came in holding dirty chicken who was being disruptive and my mother, Missionary Ethel Jackson, said "loose him".  The man looked up and said, "Lucille, I know Lucille."  Neither Torrey or I could contain our laughter but his father, our pastor, and my mother did not find our behavior amusing at all.  Trust me, we paid for that moment of outburst.  Retunda (Jackson) English  Love you and missing you already!

I met Torrey and family at Riverside and immediately was so touched by the love that was evident amongst all of your family.  His eyes would light up when he would talk about his lovely wife and children.  God's love shone through each and every one of you as you interacted with all of us.  What a devoted, calm, loving, respectful, caring, and compassionate wife you are and you always were a comfort to all that you knew.  Though your journey was difficult while you were here at the hospital, Torrey and Alice were strong, caring, and giving of themselves.  I specifically remember Torrey coming to the classroom with a huge smile on his face talking about how good he felt.  I specifically remember his warm smile.  Thank you for sharing such a wonderful man and family with us.  You all continue to be in my prayers.

Praying for the family. He was my dad's cousin and they shared alot of memories. He was a fun guy and was always nice and kind. He definitely will be missed. God bless his wife and is family. But don't forget you will see him again in heaven.

To Cedric and family in school Torrey was such a nice caring person. I'm sure over the years his personality and kindness grew to be great. I was so sorry to hear he was sick. Heaven has receicved a great gift. I hope that your memories of him comfort you And his spirit warms you.

To  Sis. Stephanie Daniels and  Superintendent Myra Daniels and Family , 18 years ago  i came to the Columbus district, of the Church of God in Christ and the first person that talked to me was Cedric Daniels and a few minutes later came this skinny kid and said hey cid who is this guy so cid said this is my little brother Torrey.  Torrey talked to me and at the end of are conversation he said i am going to be watching you not nowing were it was leading to.  Today i look back over the years and i thank God for the times we shared to gather Torrey was a jewel that there are no duplicates God has made so i thank God for the privilege that he has giving me the friendship of these to brothers that i cherish in my heart Cedrick and Torrey for ever will be my doctors, my friends and my brothers love u both, and Torry i will see you  again
