

Troy Alan Newman, 32 of Circleville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 17, 2009. He was born March 7, 1977 in Circleville to Steven and Robin (Russell) Newman. Troy is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Russell and great-grandparents, Willard and Theodosia Crosby. Troy is survived by his wife, Diana Newman; parents, Steven and Robin Newman; son, Troy Alan Newman; daughter, Hopelyn Kay Marie Henry (Newman); stepchildren, Carrie McNeal, Scott Wheeler II, Destiny Adams; special sister, Rachel (Ray) Sweeney; brother, Steven (Nicki) Newman Jr. and his twin brother, Trent Newman. Troy is also survived by his nieces, Samantha, Taylor, Elizabeth; nephew, Corbin; grandmother, Beulah Murphy; step-grandchildren, Chance, Jaelyn; aunt, Valerie (Chuck) Julian; uncles, John (Lisa) Russell, Bobby (Carolyn) Russell; cousins, Jerod (Brandy), Chuckie (Amanda), Tyler and Tiffany; father-in-law, Larry Pennington; mother-in-law, Carlene Griffey; family friend, Jenni Robbins; best friend, Brian (Tara) Greeno; beloved dogs, Shadow and Fancy and many other friends. Troy loved building and repairing things whether it be helping the neighbors with repairs to their homes after a storm or building a wheelchair ramp for a neighbor. He was a strong willed, good hearted man that wouldn’t blink an eye when it came to lending a hand in helping others. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sweet tea. His smile would light up a room and he had an easy going personality. Visitation will be held 11:00AM until 2:00PM Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at the DEFENBAUGH-WISE-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME 151 E. Main St. Circleville where funeral services will begin at 2:00PM. Troy would want you to “come as you are to the service. Andrew Hoover will be officiating with interment at Forest Cemetery.
