Tyler Mitchel Ludwig, 9, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2019. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Brandy Rankin on April 9, 2010. Tyler attended Albert Chapman Elementary School and was in the 4th grade. He played football for the Clemson Tigers, played soccer, and wrestled. He was always thinking of others. Tyler helped his classmates by standing up to bullies. He checked out library books that his younger siblings would enjoy so that he could read them stories. Once, after receiving money from the tooth fairy, Tyler was excited to buy candy with it. But as he was entering the store, the Salvation Army stood outside with donation buckets. He took all of his money, put it in the donation bucket, and said "There are more important things in this world." Tyler was a helping hand to all. His generosity and huge heart will be greatly missed.
Tyler is preceded in death by his grandparents, Debra Ludwig and John Rankin. He will be missed by many, including his mother, Brandy Rankin; siblings, Celene, Alexis, James, and Autumn Knight; stepfather, Tyler Knight; grandparents, Lisa Knight and James "JR" (Kris) Knight and Christine Ward and Glenn Burney Jr.; his great grandparents, Linda Knight and Gary Thompson, Geoffrey and Geri Ludwig, and Suzanne McCreary; his favorite cousin, Cole Knight; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements were entrusted to Schoedinger Northeast 1051 E.
