I wish the little pen cam I recorded this with had sound; but it was a tiny pen cam and back then such cams were still rare to have.  I am just glad I could record there precious moment.

My father and Uncle, (Joe and Tony Norman) and I, visited Aunt Una in Columbus about 4 years ago and it was the first time I met her in person.  She and I had written letters for a few months prior and exchanged pictures and memories.  My grandfather Reecil Errington Norman was her brother and had a really old picture of her sister, Nina that we gave her when we saw her.  It was a very touching and memorable weekend.  I especially remember her showing us a picture of her with her guitar.  From what I understand she was pretty good!  She is a gentle and loving soul and she will be missed.

I have so many memories of my Aunt Una. It's impossible to write them down but each one brings back feelings of warmth, laughter, happiness and mostly love!!! Summers were never complete until she and Uncle Clyde arrived, sometimes with my cousins and sometimes not, but it was always special. I don't remember my grandma but I don't think she could have been anymore sweet and loving towards me than Aunt Una was. She will be missed but MORE than that, she will be remembered...remembered for the gentle, kind, soft spoken, loving and caring lady she was and the wonderful example she set for all of her family.  I know she's walking with the Lord now and surrounded by her family that went before but she's also waiting for the ones she left behind to join her. Gives us all just another reason to stay true in our walk with the Lord and look forward to entering His kingdom!!! I love you Aunt Una and will see you again one day.  Tivos, Jack, Donnie, Glenda and all of the family,  I love you all and your in my prayers.

I'm really going to miss you Grandma. From the very first day we met,  you always had a way to make me smile and feel welcome in your family. I will miss your smile and soft voice. I know that you are up there with God and Dad. I can see both of you smiling in each other's arms, just like my parents. Love you

We all know that life eventually comes to and end but that doesn't make it any easier when you loose a loved one. The one consolation we have as believers is that the end of this natural life is just the beginning of our Eternal Life and destiny in Christ Jesus! There is not enough room on this page for me to list everything good about Aunt Una.  She is a woman beyond all measure.  Always so soft spoken, with her beautiful smile, she had a way about her that few people have.  She will never be forgotten and will be missed dearly! I am sure that heaven is a little sweeter now!
