Vera Mae Harmer

Vera Mae Harmer, age 86, went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Sunrise on the Scioto. Vera was born in Noble Co. Ohio on July 30, 1930 to John and Mona (Moore) Palmer. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She and her husband John owned and managed rental property for over 60 years on the Hilltop. Vera was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she was an Awana Leader. She also held Bible Study groups in her home. Vera enjoyed reading and keeping current on the top political topics. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Don Palmer. Survived by her husband of 57 years, John Harmer; sons, Bradley Harmer and Timothy (Sharon) Harmer; daughter-in-law, Mary Harmer; grandchildren, Kyle, Craig, Bradley II, Blake and Chelsie; great grandchildren, Macy and Zoe; sister, Joann Barnett; brothers, Randy (Jan) Palmer and Danny (Margie) Palmer; sister-in-law, Phyllis Palmer; nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the HOPE and HEART FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W.
