Vernon C Krier

Vernon Carl Krier, age 86 of Dublin OH and Scottsdale AZ, died unexpectedly July 23, 2019. Preceded in death by loving wife of 52 years, Geri, and survived by children, Kevin (Arie), Gladstone NJ; Steve (Carolyn), Columbus OH; Katie, Chicago IL; Tim (Kim), Dublin OH; Dave (Jennifer), Mason OH; nine grandchildren, and loving companion, Jo-Anne Nappi of Boca Raton FL. Born in St. Cloud MN and a graduate of St. Cloud State University, he served in the Army Security Agency during the Korean War and was the Jostens "ring man" in central Ohio for 39 years. An avid golfer, he had five "holes-in-one" and was a member of Muirfield Village Golf Club, Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, and St. Brigid of Kildare Church. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on August 8, 2019 at Scioto Country Club, 2196 Riverside Drive. A mass will be celebrated on August 9 at 11 a.m. at St. Brigid of Kildare Church, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin. Those who wish may contribute in his name to the Homeless Families Foundation , 33 N.
