Vickie Lynn Nau

Vickie L. Nau, age 65, passed away October 22, 2015, at Altercare of Hilliard where she has been a resident since 2008. Born June 30, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late AnnaBelle (Fetzer) Nau and James H. Nau. Vickie was a graduate of Whetstone High School (1968) and received a Bachelor of Music Education from The Ohio State University (1972). Preceded in death by her beloved pets Cinnamon, Tasha and Kizzi. Vickie enjoyed playing her bassoon in several symphonies, including two opera symphonies. She was a band director at Franklin City Schools in Franklin, Ohio (1972-1979), and worked 15 years at Proctor and Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio (retired 2006). Survived by sister Ellen L. Holdren (Mike), sister Constance S. Pearce (Craig), numerous nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Family will receive friends from 10-11:30 AM on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, OH 43085. Service will be held immediately afterward at 11:30 AM. Interment Union Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute to Altercare of Hilliard, 4660 Trueman Blvd., Hilliard, OH 43026 in her memory.
