Victoria is affectionally known by family as VSC.
VSC is survived by her, daughters; Patricia Gladney and Barbara Parker, sons; Willie Abrams (Elaine), Michael Gladney (Mashelle), Lacey Nelson, Lendale Nelson, and Mark Smith, brothers; Willie Jr. (Denyse), Clarence and Christopher (Patricia) Gladney, sisters; Armintha Stowers, Mary Gladney, and Gail Davis, fifteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren, along with many other dear family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, brothers; John Lee Gladney, MD Gladney, and John W. Gladney, sisters; Mae T Gladney and Nell Gladney, grandchildren; Germon Collier and Markala Smith.
VSC professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and attended various congregations throughout her life. She dedicated many years of service to Crown Auto Top in Columbus, Ohio, where she faithfully worked until her retirement.
VSC was a strong woman whose greatest joy was her family. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with those she loved and had a remarkable gift for making everyone she met feel valued and special. In her leisure time, she found joy in painting, sewing, and challenging herself with crossword puzzles.
A talented cook and baker, VSC was especially known for her beloved homemade caramel cakes, which became a treasured favorite among family and friends. Her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit touched the lives of many, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held at Schoedinger East, 5360 E Livingston Avenue, Columbus, OH 43232, US, on August 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at CROWN HILL FUNERAL HOME, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208, on August 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
