

Vincent Salerno passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He fought a courageous battle against multiple cancers for more than six years. He was born May 23, 1945 to the late Louis and Filomena (Giordano) Salerno in Brooklyn, NY. Vincent earned a BS degree from Siena College and an MBA from Seton Hall University. He owned and managed Renaissance Executive Forums. Previously, he served as the President and CEO of Docosa Foods and a VP and General Manager for Bordon. Vincent is survived by his wife, Diane; children: Valerie (John) Higgins of Las Vegas, NV, Brian (Maureen and children Anthony, Maria, Matthew) of Grand Rapids, MI, Michael (Kathy and children Vincent, Mia) of Arlington Heights, IL, and Mark of Gahanna; siblings: Louis (Claire), Rosemary (Mario) Truglio and Peter (Donna); and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Sunday, March 8 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.) Gahanna. Burial will take place at a later date at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine, IL.
