

Vincent Vanchieri age 45, a resident of Lewis Center, died unexpectedly Monday, January 11, 2010. He was born April 14, 1964 in Niagara Falls, NY the son of the late Vincent and Barbara Vanchieri. He spent his early childhood in Erie, PA then moving to Westerville, where he graduated from Westerville South High School in 1982. While in school he participated in sports, especially football. He was employed by Design Crete of Ohio, then TB Penick Co., where he was a concrete construction foreman. He designed commercial and residential stained designer concrete products. He loved being outdoors. His favorite place was his backyard swing with an open fire, watching his children play. His entire life was devoted to his children, making breakfast, playing and coaching soccer and baseball. He instilled the love of baseball in his sons. He was a loving and devoted husband and father and a good friend to everyone. He was especially admired for his sense of humor. He enjoyed running and vacationing at the beach with his friends, sweets and had a passion for all types of music. He is survived by his loving wife Michele whom he married on March 25, 1995, his precious sons Samuel Michael and Jacob Anthony, sister Victoria (John) Doyle, their son, Colin, mother-in-law Dolly (Dominic) Tesone, sister-in-law Tina (Randy) Asmo, their children Zachary and Alyssa, many close friends who adored him. Family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., (1/2 mile south of I-270).
