Viola was a hairstylist for over 30 years. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks and cooking and baking for her family.
Viola is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Fred Johnston.
Viola is survived by her son, Douglas (Stephanie) Johnston; and grandchildren Madison Johnston and Brayden Johnston.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
