Violet Wheeler, age 63, of Columbus, passed away Monday, June 21, 2010. She was born in Wayne, West Virginia on October 11, 1946 to the late Thomas and Herma Bing. She retired from South Western City Schools in 2008 where she worked as a cook at Finland Elementary School. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Sue Cabell; and brother, Charles Edward Bing. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, James Wheeler; children, Gregory Wheeler, Kimberly (Chase) Willis, Shelly (Russ) Whittaker, and Jody (Sue) Wheeler; 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sister, Sandra (Sam) Angius; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, June 25, 2010 from 11:00AM until time of funeral service at 1:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City. Pastor Richard Hensley officiating.
